What Choir do they work for?
Whichever one she is assigned to, or needed.
What is their occupation? Mechanic
Personality: A quiet and independent young woman, Petravol is hesitant to shows of emotion and tends to be distant. Being mostly a serious worker, she isolates herself in the Hangar for much of her time and tries to stay away from conversation or interaction. Sometimes too focused, she will suddenly lose track of time or conversation, becoming once more closed off. This technician is mostly distant and has a hard time expressing her feelings.
Were they a Sibylla priestess in the past?
She was for a short while.
History
Growing up in a well known and prestigious family, Petravol had been destined since birth to become a Sibyalla, yet served as a mechanic on the side. Achieving a perfect score in her academy as a Cadet, she was sent to dwell on the Caelum Prima in the Auris Choir and pilot the Simoun at the age of 14. A new Priestess, her main course was to learn the ropes and try to find a place among the rest of her Choir. Becoming a pair with another young girl, hatred quickly blossomed between the two that caused much discord and lack of focus. The war having recently started, the once peaceful Priestess had to take up the task of combating against the enemy. Tension and stress filling the air, fights broke out between Petra and her partner, spurring along their crumbling relationship with a violent pace.
Enduring through multiple hardships with said partner, Petra finally decided to make a decision at the arrival of her seventh birthday. Having been fed up with her partner and desiring to get away from her, her mind trained on the idea of altering her future. Taking a journey to the spring, the goddess Onashia decided her fate for her: become a female and work on the Arcus Prima as a Technician. Her talents sought elsewhere and gender officially changed to female, she proceeded to start on the tasking occupation that would keep her busy for days to come.
Petra finally managed to get the hang of engineering and became a technician who could fix just about anything. Being in charge of her Choir's Simouns, the same Choir she evicted from, Petra was still given the same respect. The woman's ex-partner still harbored the same hatred, but Petra's feelings changed when an accident in the Hangar's occurred. A large explosion, caused from a main pipeline rupture, nearly cost her her life if it wasn't for the same partner she feared. It was then that new found emotions started to boil underneath.
Why did they choose their specific gender at The Spring? To distance herself from her ex-partner she had hoped to never run into again.
Sample Post
"Shit!" she cursed between her teeth as a spark of electricity bolted forward and struck the panel of metal beside her, leaving a black charred mark where her shoulder had once been. Her golden eyes flickered darkly back onto the piece of machinery she had been tinkering with, the hull of a Sibyalla that had taken one too many crashing lands into trees during a test run. It was always her job, always, to fix the repairable and scrap the permanently damaged. "Just like life," Petra muttered out bitterly as she grabbed at a towel near her and wiped the back of her neck. Throwing it back down and picking up a weighty tool, she set to work within the frame of loose gears and tightly packed complex metal, hands skillfully working at trying to salvage the better parts of the craft. It was a pain to see such a magnificent ship down in decay (she would know as she used to dutifully fly them), but someone had to fix them, and she was the only one for the job.
A "woman's job", as she liked to say with a coy smile cocked on her narrow face.
